A new walking map of Greenhithe is now available.
The Greenhithe Walking Map is popping up in spots around the village, highlighting two key walks and many more reserves.
Greenhithe Community Trust's eco-facilitator Priscilla Collins says the map was a personal project to try to increase people's knowledge of local reserves and to compensate for the lack of walking maps of the area.
"I thought I really wanted to highlight our lovely local reserves,"
"They are probably quite well-known for the old Greenhithe people but there's so many new people to Greenhithe, it's just nice to highlight them."
She says the two 60-minute walks were a "combination of favourite walks" which are easy, fun and walk through some native bush.
Both start and finish at The Collins cafe, and have restroom stops marked.
The map is available at Harcourts Greenhithe, and local shops and cafés, or you can download it here.

Greenhithe is a village situated on the North Shore of Auckland, New Zealand.
Its friendly community, local cafés, walkways, excellent schools and access to Lucas Creek on the upper reaches of the Waitemata Harbour make it a very desirable area to live in. With a selection of excellent schools nearby and quick access to the CBD by either the Northern or Western motorways, and the new direct motorway route to the airport, it really is the Shore's hidden secret.
